About Chairman’s Charity Event
The New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists will hold an extra special charity event to benefit the Personal Care Product Council's "Look Good . . . Feel Better" program. This charity was created to help individuals with cancer look good, improve their self-esteem, and manage their treatment and recovery with greater confidence. This special charity social/educational event will be at the historic Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal (CRRNJ) at Liberty State Park on Saturday, January 23, 2010. With this historic venue as the backdrop, there will be an educational poster session on our industry’s early years in the USA; featuring both marketing and supplier companies.
The NYSCC Chairman’s Charity Event will begin at 6:00PM with a one-hour cruise of the NY harbor aboard a chartered yacht (warm beverages included). While on the yacht a local historian will share with us the history of the harbor. At the CRRNJ; the educational poster session/ cocktail hour begins at 7:30PM followed by a 3-course buffet dinner with DJ entertainment.
Registration fees are $85.00 per person or a table of 10 at $800.00. $15.00 per person will be donated to the charity as well as a significant contribution by the Chapter. A total donation of $10,000 will be made to the charity.
